How it works

  1. Type any word. Real words, common nouns work best.
  2. Watch the heat. Each guess gets a rank among the whole word list: #1 is the secret’s slot (hottest). Your guess shows how far down you are — lower numbers are hotter, bigger numbers are colder.
  3. Follow the gradient. When a guess is hotter than your last, you're on the right track. Pivot when you cool down.
  4. Solve the secret. Type the actual word to win.
